Here is a list of supplies that you can print out and take with you on your next shopping spree. EMBROIDERY SUPPLY SHOPPING LIST

All of our designs are digital machine embroidery designs or cutting machine designs to be used with an embroidery machine or cutting machine, respectively. You are purchasing a digital  file, NOT a physical product like an iron-on patch! You MUST have a computer, a way to download and unzip the file, an embroidery machine or cutting machine to use these designs as well as a way to get them to your machine from your computer!

The purchase price includes download access to the zipped files which contains all sizes described on the product page, all machine formats listed, color chart, and any special instructions available for each.

1. Click the “Add to Cart” button for each design and/or font you want to purchase. (PLEASE NOTE: My website does not feature a function that notifies when an item has been previously purchased. Please be sure to review your purchase history to prevent duplicate purchases. It is the customer’s responsibility to prevent making duplicate purchases.)
2. Select the Shopping Bag icon near the top right.
3. CART PAGE: review your cart contents. Add/remove items as needed.
4. If you have a Coupon or a Gift Card add them to the appropriate boxes and click “Apply”.
5. Select “Proceed To Checkout”.
6. CHECKOUT DETAILS PAGE 1: If you have shopped with us before, log into your account. If this is your first time, please fill in your billing details. (PLEASE NOTE: your registered billing address must match the billing address for your payment method in order for PayPal to complete the transaction)
7. Check the box to  the left of “I’ve read and accept the terms & conditions, (terms & conditions may be viewed by clicking on the words)
8. Click on “Place Order”

Pay with PayPal: click on “Checkout with PayPal”. You will be redirected to PayPal to complete your payment. No PayPal account? No problem. Choose Pay with credit or debit card. Enter the card number and expiration date on this page. Click on “Pay Now”. Your PayPal information and/or your credit/debit card information are only entered on PayPal’s secure, encrypted payment site. Your Creative Appliques account only contains your name, email address and billing address for verification as required by the PayPal shopping cart.

PayPal’s payment page sends data to my store to automatically authorize orders.  Upon completion of payment, it marks the order as complete thereby activating the download links immediately. This automatic authorization of download links may be interrupted occasionally for the following reasons: 1. refreshing your browser or using the browser “back” button during processing 2. failure to verify the billing address due to spelling, errors, or discrepancies 3. internet connectivity issues causing a page timeout. Although these situations very rarely occur, these automatic authorization interruptions can happen even when the payment successfully processes. If you know your payment has processed but is still reading as “pending payment”, please use the CONTACT US form to send us an email so we can manually process the order for you as quickly as possible during normal business hours.

EMBROIDERY DESIGNS: You will receive one zipped file. Within the main file are 12 other folders sorted by individual formats. All of our designs come in 12 different formats: ART, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PEC, PES, SEW, SHV, VIP, VP3, and XXX. Our embroidery fonts come in these 12 formats along with BX format to be used with the EMBRILLIANCE software. CUTTING FILES: You will receive one zipped file containing SVG, DFX, EPS, and PNG.

INSTANT DOWNLOAD All designs are instant download. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an email with links to the downloads. If you do not receive this email, please check your junk or spam folder. Also, you can log into your account to download your designs. Designs will NOT be emailed to you or mailed on a CD.

Click on MY ACCOUNT at the top right of the screen. On the left side, log in to your account using your username and password. Once logged in, on the left side click on DOWNLOADS. Then on the DOWNLOADS page, click on the name of the file on the far right side. A window will pop up. Select where on your computer you want to save your file. Most designs only contain one (1) zipped file which includes all sizes of the design, every format offered, color chart, and any special instructions. -Depending on the browser you are using, you may need to right click on the link and select “Save As” selection in the dialog box to choose the folder on your computer where you want to save the file. -Download links are never expire. However, it is always a good idea to save back up copies of your purchases on an external hard drive, CD or USB memory stick. All files are in a compressed/zipped file.  Follow these instructions on how to unzip your files. You need to unzip/extract the files before sending individual designs to your machine or before working with them in your embroidery software. The compressed/zipped folder looks similar to other folders on your computer but has the image of a zipper on the folder icon. On a PC, right click on the zipped file to open a menu and select extract all from the menu. The extraction wizard will open. Select “next”, then “finish” through the wizard; it will place the designs in an extracted folder by the same name as the original (the extracted folder will be in the same directory as the zipped folder unless you selected another destination). On a MAC, double click on the zipped folder. It will extract the files in the same location where you downloaded them. Sending individual embroidery designs to your embroidery machine via USB memory stick or USB connection will be explained in your embroidery machine owner’s manual. Working with individual embroidery designs using embroidery software before sending to your machine would be explained in tutorial provided by the software maker.

Use the Contact Us form to send me a message. I reply to all email inquiries as quickly as possible during normal business hours. Order confirmation and password reset requests are sent immediately via the automated email system. If you have not received a reply to your email or from one of the automated systems, please check your spam, junk, or bulk mail folder for misdirected emails from Creative Appliques. Make sure to unblock or mark as “not spam” emails received from creativeappliques.com. As an extra added measure, go into your email safety settings and add creativeappliques.com domain to your safe senders list (depending on your email provider, this process varies). First, close out your browser, then reopen it. If you are still having problems downloading your designs, please restart your computer.

Not to worry. Your order history contains all of your purchases. The download links never expire. Simply log into your account to download your designs again. It is always a good idea to save back up copies of your purchases on an external hard drive, CD or USB memory stick.

Several things here might come into play. I will give a detailed rundown for you on each point.

A: CORRUPT FILE: This happens at times when downloading from the internet. Here is what to do please.

 PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS IN THE EXACT ORDER BEFORE DOWNLOADING AND SAVING THE NEW FILE!

1. Please delete the file from your embroidery machine, USB stick, card reader, etc.

2. Restart your embroidery machine.

3. Delete the entire file from your computer.

4. Delete the file from your recycling bin/trash on your computer.

5. Restart your computer

6. Download and save the file again.

7. Unzip the file on your computer.

8. Transfer the file to your machine, USB stick, card reader.

 This should take care of the issues if the file was corrupt.

B. STABILIZER: Stabilizer is another issue that could be causing issues. It is important to use the correct stabilizer for the item you are embroidering on.

C. HOOPING: As for hooping, if the item is not hooped very securely then it will slide and shift around causing the stitching to not meet up. If it is not possible to hoop the item, then use a spray adhesive to lay the item down onto the stabilizer, then flatten it out very well. Then pin as close to the edge of the hoop out of the way of the stitching. Pin it so even inch of it is secured.

D. APPLIQUE: When cutting the applique fabric, please be very careful not to pull too hard on the fabric you are cutting. This could cause the item to shift in the hoop thereby causing the stitching to not line up properly with the fabric and the rest of the design when you proceed to sew the remainder of the design.

E. SPACE: Another factor to consider is, if the hoop was bumped at all during the sewing process. If the hoop hit anything while sewing, it will throw the registration of the machine off and affect the rest of the stitching of that design. The machine will need to be turned off and restarted in order to reset the registration.

F. SOFTWARE: If the design was loaded into software before sending the design to your machine, this could affect the design. Software can change the characteristics of a design before saving and sending it to your machine. You might try to send the design directly to your machine bypassing any software you might be using as well.

G. RESIZING: if you took the design into software and resized it, the design stitch type could have been changed by your software program. Resizing is not recommended and we cannot guarantee our designs if they have been altered or resized in any way since this does change the integrity of the original design.

Addressing each of these points, should take care of any issues with a design file.
