Technique Tuesday Stitch Along-Notebook Cover with Letter

Dawn of Creative Appliques Embroidery and Reen of Embroidery Garden are back with another fun and informative Stitch Along! We will be sewing one of Embroidery Garden’s ‘in the hoop’ notebook covers and adding Creative Appliques’ double applique collegiate letter to the front. But we are going to put a whole new spin on the original design by using some fun fabrics from Shannon Fabrics! And it will all be done on your embroidery machine in one hooping! Dawn will start in Embrilliance software showing you how to bring in, perfectly center and re-order the notebook design. She will also show you some of her other projects using the letters. Reen will show you some notebook covers using different designs as well.
We will also be giving away 5 prizes:

SUPPLIES NEEDED
NOTE: These are specific for using Cuddle® fabric like we will be in the demo. If you are using cotton fabrics, follow the PDF instructions included with the file purchase.
* 8 x 12 hoop
* Lightweight cutaway stabilizer (no show mesh)
* Water Soluble Stabilizer topper
* A: 1 piece of batting 9“w x 13”h
* B: 1 piece of Cuddle® Hide 6”w x 13”h (This will be the top half of the front cover)
* C: 1 piece of Cuddle® Hide 4”w x 13”h (bottom half of the front cover)
* D & E: 2 pieces of Cuddle® 3 for the pockets 9”w x 6”h. Iron SF101 to the bck sides. One edge of each piece will need to be turned under 1/2″ and finished.
* F: 1 piece of cotton fabric 9”w x 13”h (inside of the cover)
* 1 piece of 6″w X 7″h vinyl for bottom of letter
* 1 piece of Cuddle® 3 cut 6″w x 7″h for top of applique letter
